SMASH Raleigh: Where Games Meet Craft

Ping pong, electronic darts, and tasting-menu cocktails in a bone-paper-lit Glenwood room

About Us

A lively interior with colorful seating and gaming tables. — SMASH
A lively interior with colorful seating and gaming tables.

A spoon no larger than a thumb delivers the first bite. SMASH Raleigh arranges that moment again and again—across lacquered tables, beneath warm, raking lights that turn every plate into sculpture. Guests drift between rounds of ping pong and darts, pausing for small plates that balance smoke, acid, and quiet sweetness. The space itself is spare: pale walls, low seating, the soft click of paddles meeting ball. Yet every detail, from the arrangement of ice in a coupe to the placement of a single herb, is measured. Nothing shouts. Everything lingers.

What We Offer

Cocktails arrive in considered pours—vermouth washed with orange peel, mezcal softened by honey and lapsang. Plates move from raw to seared to slow-braised, each portion sized for sharing or solitude. Between courses, the room invites play: regulation tables, electronic scoring, couches deep enough for long conversations. Hosts track reservations loosely, allowing walk-ins to settle at the bar or claim a corner while they wait. The night stretches without rush; last call feels more like an invitation to linger than a closing bell.

"This place was amazing and very great for a large social gathering with family and friends. There is ping pong, beer pong (water is used), lots of seating and comfy couches, and friendly service. We got a room and it is best if you have a lot of people so you can split the cost for the room. Food is great too, I recommend getting one of the meals with lots of food options on it, it is great to try out a bunch of different options."

"As someone who doesn’t go out often, I felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived. The staff—from the hostess to the general manager—was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Michelle crafted exceptional drinks; her specialty, the Dirty Dr Pepper, was outstanding (especially impressive since I rarely drink). Orlando was equally friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations as I’m new to North Carolina. The Parmesan fries were excellent. The wings were decent, though slightly lukewarm, but the overall experience more than made up for it. The atmosphere was comfortable, the crowd enjoyable, and watching the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight felt relaxed and safe. Special shoutout to Kevyn at the front door—his professionalism and calm, welcoming presence made me feel at home before I even stepped upstairs. His energy truly set the tone for the night, thanks Kevyn. I live an hour away and would still come to Raleigh just to relax at this spot. Next time, I’ll check out the games, but honestly, everyone there—including the patrons—was exactly my kind of crowd. They’ve only been open a couple of weeks, but this is already a go-to for me. Looking forward to returning very soon. Not many places excite me like this, so I can’t wait to check it out again!"

"Super cool new spot on Glenwood. Their food and cocktail game is legit and I tried some beautiful and delicious drinks. Good place to play games with friends - think ping pong, electronic darts, and electronic shuffleboard. Don’t sleep on the buffalo chicken quesadilla!"

"This is such a cool new spot! The drinks and food were great, and they had lots of fun options to keep us occupied. We enjoyed playing ping pong and then played the shuffleboard game; both were a blast. Service was great and it has cool views and fun decor. Great for a date night and would be a lot of fun for a double-date, too!"
