Play Hard. Drink Well. Stay Awhile.

Ping pong, craft cocktails, and good company on Glenwood Ave, Raleigh.

About Us

A lively interior with colorful seating and gaming tables.

SMASH earns its name. Ping pong paddles crack. Darts find their mark. Laughter carries across the room from the deep, low couches where someone's group has clearly settled in for the night.

The cocktail program holds its own beside the games. Drinks arrive with intention, not as afterthoughts. The staff reads the room, attentive without hovering, warm without performance. A 4.7-star rating across dozens of reviews doesn't happen by accident. It happens because the hostess remembers your name and the general manager actually walks the floor.

500 Glenwood Ave sits squarely in Raleigh's most social corridor, and SMASH makes use of every square foot. Large groups find space. Solo arrivals find welcome. The room is built for the kind of night that starts with one drink and ends with someone suggesting a rematch.

What We Offer

Ping pong, beer pong tables, and electronic darts anchor the game floor. Seating is generous, with sectional couches and open tables sized for groups that keep growing.

The bar program runs deep. Craft cocktails are mixed with care, the kind you photograph before you drink. A full food menu supports the pace, substantial enough to carry a long evening without slowing it down.

Private event hosting is available for birthdays, team outings, and large social gatherings. The space scales. Whether the party is twelve people or forty, SMASH Raleigh has the layout and the staff to hold it together.

"This place was amazing and very great for a large social gathering with family and friends. There is ping pong, beer pong (water is used), lots of seating and comfy couches, and friendly service. We got a room and it is best if you have a lot of people so you can split the cost for the room. Food is great too, I recommend getting one of the meals with lots of food options on it, it is great to try out a bunch of different options."

"As someone who doesn’t go out often, I felt comfortable and welcomed from the moment I arrived. The staff—from the hostess to the general manager—was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Michelle crafted exceptional drinks; her specialty, the Dirty Dr Pepper, was outstanding (especially impressive since I rarely drink). Orlando was equally friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations as I’m new to North Carolina. The Parmesan fries were excellent. The wings were decent, though slightly lukewarm, but the overall experience more than made up for it. The atmosphere was comfortable, the crowd enjoyable, and watching the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua fight felt relaxed and safe. Special shoutout to Kevyn at the front door—his professionalism and calm, welcoming presence made me feel at home before I even stepped upstairs. His energy truly set the tone for the night, thanks Kevyn. I live an hour away and would still come to Raleigh just to relax at this spot. Next time, I’ll check out the games, but honestly, everyone there—including the patrons—was exactly my kind of crowd. They’ve only been open a couple of weeks, but this is already a go-to for me. Looking forward to returning very soon. Not many places excite me like this, so I can’t wait to check it out again!"

"Super cool new spot on Glenwood. Their food and cocktail game is legit and I tried some beautiful and delicious drinks. Good place to play games with friends - think ping pong, electronic darts, and electronic shuffleboard. Don’t sleep on the buffalo chicken quesadilla!"

"This is such a cool new spot! The drinks and food were great, and they had lots of fun options to keep us occupied. We enjoyed playing ping pong and then played the shuffleboard game; both were a blast. Service was great and it has cool views and fun decor. Great for a date night and would be a lot of fun for a double-date, too!"
